Kristina Kočan (1981, Slovenia) is a poet, translator, and artistic director of the festival Days of Poetry and Wine. Kočan is the author of four poetry collections. Her most recent book, Settlings (Selišča, 2021), received the prestigious Veronika Award for the best poetry collection of the year, and was nominated for the Jenko Award and others. She is also the author of the multimedia book s|prehod and the short-fiction collection Wildlife (Divjad). Her poetry has been translated into more than ten languages and featured in numerous international anthologies.
