Anna Štičková studied literature and creative writing before completing a Master’s programme in Cultural Management at the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University in Brno. She is currently finishing her PhD at the same institution, focusing on the book market and working conditions within the literary field. At Masaryk University, she teaches courses in cultural policy and publishing practice, leads creative writing seminars. She has published three poetry collections to date, the most recent of which, Všude pak viděla husy(Everywhere She Then Saw Geese, Protimluv, 2024), was longlisted for the Magnesia Litera and the Jiří Orten Award.
